You progress from level to level by defeating a series of opponents in this competition of armed combat. Backspace is a space game where you travel from one level to the next earning credits for every ship you shoot and every level you manage. Shoot all enemy ships and you get to the next level. If you get shot three times or crash into another ship you lose. To the right you see a map of enemy ships and three meters. The first one measures damage, the second one fuel, the third one ammo.
